ICON White Spot Removal

White spots are very common and can be caused by a range of factors including:

  • Dental trauma or illness during childhood.
  • Over consumption of fluoride.
  • Loss of minerals from the enamel due to a build-up of plaque on teeth with braces.

ICON treatment is a non-invasive treatment that can remove white spots and mottling on the surface of teeth to enhance your smile.

What is ICON white spot removal treatment?

The specifically formulated ICON gel is first applied to the tooth to open the pores of the tooth surface.

Once the gel has been rinsed and dried, ICON infiltrate resin is applied and cured under a dental light which helps to preserve the tooth from additional decay.

Finally, the surface resin is removed, correcting the white spots but without covering the surface of the tooth.

Results are generally instantaneous, leaving you with bright, spot-free teeth without the need for any drilling or injections.
