With an implant retained bridge, dental implants can be used to support the bridge in much the same way an implant supports a crown for a single tooth.

What is the treatment for an implant retained bridge?

Dental implants are usually completed in phases after a thorough assessment, often with X- rays and digital scans.

Under a local anaesthetic and using precise, surgical techniques, single or multiple titanium implants are secured into the jawbone.

The implants are then left for about months, during which time the implant bonds with the bone (osseointegration).

This process ensures a strong and solid foundation for the bridge and the new replacement teeth.

Once the implants have been fully integrated into the jawbone, a custom-made bridge can be permanently fitted to the implants.
